Fancy case and lug design, plus a gorgeous black dial! A unique timepiece! This is a vintage Girard-Perregaux mechanical wristwatch dated from the 1940s in excellent condition and running great.
It is a manual wind watch powered by an original Grirard-Perregaux & Co. movement caliber Girard Perregaux 86 AE 446, 17 jewels, sweep second, unadjusted, Swiss made.
This watch still features the original and gorgeous black dial, showing some patina – that in our opinion gives this watch a unique look! Gold hour marks and gold matching hands; the sub-second is located at 6 o’clock. Also, the dial is signed with the Girard-Perregaux name.
Cased in a 24.5x27.5mm rectangle case with fancy sides and lug design, all in 10K gold filled. Original GP signed crown. It comes with a vintage green Genuine Lizard two-piece strap.
This is a very good-looking wristwatch, keeps good time and runs very well!

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
The condition is pre-owned.
The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
