These statement earrings are made from vintage blush scallop shells with a 24K gold edging. Strung on hammered 1 inch, 18 gauge, 14K gold fill hoops. The shells are very old and have some slight cracks and blemishes, which do not compromise their integrity and only add to their vintage charm. The shells are coated with a thin layer of clear enamel to protect and harden. Very lightweight.
